For the past decade or so, the Korean hip hop scene has been growing by the day. Different from the American rap, not only in regards to the subject matter but also the language, the old and the young artists have found their way into rapping, whether in commercial settings or at underground venues. A fair number of Korean rappers are so good at what they do that they have been swiping the world off its feet with their powerful sound and first-class rapping; one of them is Lee Joon-Kyung, a.k.a Dok2. At the age of 13, Dok2 was singed by Stardom Entertainment (in July 2015, it was acquired by Hunus Entertainment) and years later, the rapper is established as a versatile producer and a songwriter for artists such as Drunken Tiger and Dynamic Duo.

One might be impressed by the fact that, at the mere age of 21, the rapper – alongside The Quiett – formed a record label called Illionaire Records which signed one of the most influential rappers of South Korea: Beenzino.
With over a million followers around the world and six studio albums under his belt, including the 2017’s Reborn, Dok2 is set on world music domination as he is to embark on his Canadian and European Tour this September. The rapper will begin the tour in Vancouver, Canada on September 1st and wrap it up in Paris, France on September 21st, performing in London at Scala on September 11th. Get ready and don’t miss out on seeing the superb Dok2! Tickets go on sale August 5th at 3 pm.
