The Hallyu Korea (K-pop Swiss) Association of Switzerland, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and KOFICE, will stream the online event Hallyu Com-On 2020 Swiss on YouTube on November 21, 2020 from 7pm to 10pm Korean time, and 10am to 1pm UK time.

Hallyu Korea (IG @koreanswisswave), which promotes the Korean Wave in Switzerland, will not only meet virtually with local Swiss fans while showing K-pop and Korean culture through the event, but also those from around the world. The Swiss Hallyu Korea Association held its first K-pop Culture Day in Lausanne, Switzerland on January 25th, 2020. It was a great success as the event was welcomed by a crowd of 700 and a major Swiss broadcaster, RTS, was present during that day as well.

It was recently announced that on November 14th (3 am UK time), six days before the main event, Hallyu Korea invited W24, a boy group that consistently enchants its fans with high quality music and Jung Ho-won’s dreamy vocals. W24 will hold an unusual event; rather than a live concert, they will be giving virtual Korean classes. And on November 21st, Hallyu Com-On 2020 Swiss will welcome a popular Korean influencer, Chang-ha (Tik-Toker who has 7.5M followers), and will host a conversation with Luhan’s [former memeber of EXO] choreographer, Jay Kim. K-Culture will have a chat with influencers such as Edward Avila (Youtuber who has 1.6M followers) and introduce K-Beauty to the viewers. AOORA, a singer, producer and a choreographer, who is a former member of Double A, will participate in the event as well. Hallyu Com-on 2020 Swiss is free of charge and will be widely available on YouTube.

About View of the Arts

We are open-minded individuals, for whom there are no limits. We always seem to spend our last few pennies on the arts instead of bread and butter! Oh well, it’s worth it! You will always find us in a cinema, at film festivals, fashion shows, concerts, galleries or the theatre. We are a group of female film critics, arts journalists, and photographers.
