K.FLEX to Take Over The O2 Arena with Seven Exhilarating K-pop Acts – This Event Has Been Cancelled
The seminal K.FLEX will be making its first impression on a UK audience on November 20th, 2022. Following an incredible inaugural event in Frankfurt, which saw more than 65,000 tickets sold across the weekend-long event in May, K.FLEX will come to London to delight fans far and wide. Taking place at the O2 Arena, the event promises to be an indulgent and jampacked Sunday of celebrating Korean culture and music.

The star-studded 3-hour show will be headlined by WINNER, Billboard’s World Album Chart-toppers. Although they are very popular around the world, this will be their first time performing in the UK. There will be six more acts performing on the day, including Billlie, a seven-member rookie girl group that debuted in 2021. They have recently released The Billage of Perception: Chapter Two, an EP that combines various genres, including hard rock, pop-R&B, and synth-pop. And with this EP in mind, the girls will embark on their first performance in the UK.

AB6IX, who ignited the stadium at K.FLEX’s inaugural festival, and are on track to become one of K-pop’s brightest new stars, will also be participating in the concert. The line-up will also include Pentagon, who were nominated for Best Korean Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2018. The boy group has recently taken part in the MIK Festival in Southwark Park in London, and now they will perform on a bigger stage than ever before: the O2 Arena.

Rookie groups such as Weeekly and Younite will also perform during Sunday’s show. Weeekly’s recent participation in the HallyuPop Fest at Wembley Arena impressed many, so let’s hope they that they dazzle us with an even bigger performance this time. Younite, on the other hand, is one of those new groups that many haven’t heard much of. Having debuted just a few months ago, there is no denial that these young men will soon top the charts. Last but not least, VIVIZ will be coming to London again. The trio consists of former GFriend members: SinB, Umji, and Eunha, and while their MIK Festival performance was equipped with cuteness and talent, the girls truly shine with their catchy songs. And that’s why there is no surprise that VIVIZ scooped Best Female Rookie at the 2022 Brand of The Year Awards earlier this year.

David Ciclitira, founder and chairman of the Live Company Group, said:
“I’m pleased to be working with The O2 to bring an incredible K-pop concert experience to fans in London this November. K.FLEX is set to be a true celebration of the talents of the K-pop world!”.
The O2, which has held shows from the likes of Robbie Williams, The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Backstreet Boys, BTS and Beyoncé, will also play host to a short, recorded pre-show, celebrating the world of K-pop and all things Korean.
Organised by the Live Company Group and Seoul-based SG2, the show promises to be an unforgettable night, presenting the many talents of the fastest-growing music market in the world. With a rocketing global fanbase, K.FLEX aims to become the central meeting point of K-pop fans worldwide, celebrating rookie groups alongside better-known K-pop Idols.
Steve Sayer, VP & General Manager at The O2, said:
“We’re so excited to welcome such a broad range of K-pop stars to The O2 this November for K.FLEX, with seven incredible performers, including Winner, AB6IX, Pentagon and more. K-pop is continuing to take the music industry by storm, and we’re incredibly proud to not only be providing a UK home to this year’s K.FLEX concert and next year’s cross-campus festival in September 2023, but also to be hosting the very first UK performances for some of these chart-topping artists. We’re looking forward to K-pop fans from across the world visiting The O2 for what’s sure to be a fantastic night of entertainment.”

K.FLEX, formerly known as KPOP.FLEX, is also taking place in Frankfurt at the Deutsche Bank Park Stadium on 17th–18th June, 2023, and returning to London’s The O2 on 22nd–24th September, 2023.
