Join us this November in Los Angeles as we get ready to dance and sing along with K-pop group AB6IX on The Future World Tour. After rescheduling their North American leg of The Future World Tour, ABNEW (the name given to their fandom), eagerly await to see the group on their new date November 12th, at the Teragram Ballroom. AB6IX will be among the ranks of exceptional artists who have previously performed at the venue such as Nicki Minaj and Chance the Rapper.
AB6IX, under BRAND NEW MUSIC, has been on the scene since 2019 when they made their official debut with their first EP B:Complete. They have gone on to produce hits such as Breathe, Loser and have featured with Lizzo on her hit Truth Hurts Remix. This four-member South Korean boy group is composed of Lee Daehwi, Kim Donghyun, Park Woojin, Jeon Woong. Each member participated in Mnet Survival series Produce 101 where the members then went on to perform within other groups pre-debut before forming and debuting with AB6IX.
The group has since released three studio albums 6ixense (2019), Mo’Complete (2021), and their most recent Take a Chance (2022). Their newest EP, Future is Ours: Lost (2023), features their hit song Loser, which currently has over 20 million views on YouTube. Their music spans a variety of genres including but not limited to Hip-hop, ballads, K-pop, and Electronic, showing off the group’s versatility. Unlike many Western groups, K-pop presents both, group songs as well as solos to highlight the artists’ individuality and AB6IX is no exception.
This will be the group’s third time performing in Los Angeles, and second time on tour in the city. Los Angeles is no stranger to K-pop and this past August hosted the 11th year of the weekend-long festival, KCON, where K-pop fans alike come to meet and watch performances of all kinds of their favorite idols. Fans from all over the world joined in to celebrate their favorite idols, toting lightsticks, handmade signs, and photo cards. AB6IX’s Daehwi described the event as “A party for K-pop stars to perform in the United States”, as the group performed on the KCON stage in 2019 as rookies.
When your favorite artists are not in town there are a plethora of K-pop-centered activities to check out throughout the city. You can always find fans gathering at cup sleeve events as well as clubs throughout the city that host K-pop Nights playing all your favorite hits. Shop local in Korea Town where you can find an array of restaurants, and markets, or check out CGV Theatre where they show both Asian Films as well as the latest Hollywood blockbusters with Korean subtitles.
ABNEW in Los Angeles are excited to welcome their idols back to their city, rounding out their US stops. AB6IX will be participating in fan signs, group photos, and hi-touch, so be sure to check out all available ticket options as you have the opportunity to meet the artists on tour. General admission concert tickets are also available.
Get your lightsticks charged and your fan chats ready, The Future World Tour kicks off this November in Chicago visiting six cities before coming to its finale in Los Angeles.
