There’s something magical about Thai BL dramas; their stories connect people not only in Thailand but all around the world. Whether it’s the slow burn, the unspoken glances, the richness of emotion, or simply seeing parts of ourselves in the characters, these shows become personal experiences, unless, of course, they involve supernatural beings. While some of us may dream of being vampires, race car drivers, or whatever our hearts desire, most of these stories remain remarkably relatable. And when you finally meet the actors who bring those characters to life, that’s when the magic feels even more real.
Enter Joss Way-Ar Sangngern and Gawin Caskey – known affectionately by fans as JossGawin. In their first-ever pairing onscreen, they star in My Golden Blood, a new fantasy BL from GMMTV in which a 200-year-old vampire, Mark (played by Joss), must protect Tong (Gawin), a young man with the rare “golden blood” that draws the attention (and danger) of the immortal world.

What makes this couple special isn’t the premise, really; it is their chemistry. As Joss and Gawin work together – both on camera and off – you can feel the weight of their performance: the trust, the willingness to explore a new genre (Thai BL vampire romance), and the emotions each brings to the table.
Now, they’ve brought that fire across continents. Their very first fan meet in London turned fiction into reality. For fans, it was a chance to be close to the people whose stories have touched them. Seeing them laugh, interact, and simply share the same space created a feeling that can’t quite be described until you’ve experienced it – I would say, part admiration, part shared joy, and part the comfort of being seen. For JossGawin, this fan meet is a milestone and an opportunity to build new memories with their international audience.
And what a night it was.

Taking place at The Clapham Grand, the fan meet began with a duet – Joss and Gawin entered the stage to perform Ever After, a beautifully slow, romantic number that showed their energy together was one of a kind. After they finished singing, Joss smiled as he shared, “I really like the city. I took some time to walk around [London] yesterday.” Gawin added, “I’ve been to London a couple of months ago. It was great.” Their chemistry was effortless – genuine friends teasing, laughing, and sharing bits of their lives with a crowd who adored every second of it.
Then came the British accent moment. Joss, ever curious, declared, “I always wanted to come here. England is such a cool country with a rich history. There is something about the British accent that’s so sophisticated.” The crowd burst into laughter – and a playful challenge to try it. Gawin, looking half-shy and half-game, said through giggles, “I’m afraid to do it,” before attempting a hesitant, “Cheers mate, I am so thirsty?”

While the MC seemed completely out of sync and unsure how to move the conversation forward, Joss and Gawin handled it like pros – turning every awkward pause into comedy gold. Their natural dynamic carried the whole show.
“I was a bit nervous coming here,” Gawin admitted at one point. “I didn’t expect to see so many people here watching us.” Joss, meanwhile, mentioned they had just wrapped filming and teased, “Only Friends: Dream On is in post-production, hope you can watch it soon.”
Then came the Mirror Game – the “how well do you know each other” challenge. The mission: copy each other’s gestures without talking. The result: glorious chaos. From mismatched arm waves to synchronised poses that somehow worked, the two had everyone laughing.
The solo performances were where the room went soft. Joss performed Lonely, his first single, rearranged just for the fan meet – a bilingual Thai-English ballad that had fans quietly sitting and listening. Gawin followed with a guitar performance that melted hearts. His song, Counting Stars, an OST from Astrophile starring Bright, Mai, and Off, was tender and emotional – a piece about missing someone, sung first in Thai and then in English so the London audience could connect.

Next up: art time. Yes, drawing. Or something resembling it. When asked to draw for two lucky fans, Gawin immediately said, “I can’t draw!”. But what they lacked in skill, they made up for in enthusiasm – and laughter. Two fans went home with adorable, slightly questionable masterpieces and mini gift bags from the pair.
A tribute video followed, a lively edit of global memories, travel clips, and touching moments shared by their community. It beautifully captured the journey between Joss, Gawin, and the people who’ve supported them from the start. To wrap up the evening, the duo returned for one last performance, their latest single You’re My Way, closing the night on the same note it began: warm, funny, heartfelt, and overflowing with love.
For London fans, it was a wonderful night – full of laughter, music, and the kind of energy that can only come from two people who genuinely enjoy being together. If this was Joss and Gawin’s first fan meet here, let’s hope it’s far from the last.
