British Summer Time Hyde Park – the annual summer concert series that transforms London’s historic park into one of the world’s premier live music destinations – has announced another major homegrown moment for 2026. American Express presents BST Hyde Park is thrilled to welcome Mumford & Sons back to the Great Oak Stage on Saturday, 4 July 2026, marking a decade since their last triumphant appearance.
For a group that sprung from West London’s grassroots music circles, the return feels less like a booking and more like a homecoming. Joining them as special guests are The War on Drugs, with additional artists to be unveiled soon. Tickets go on sale now.
Since their 2008 debut, Mumford & Sons have crossed continents, headlined the world’s biggest festivals, topped global charts, and shared stages with legends such as Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and Neil Young. Yet London has always remained their artistic anchor — and Hyde Park one of the band’s most meaningful stages.
Their forthcoming album Prizefighter, out 13 February, was made with Aaron Dessner at Long Pond Studio and features collaborations with Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton, and Gigi Perez. It follows RUSHMERE, their 2025 UK No. 1 record that fuelled a sold-out global arena tour.
Hyde Park is woven into our story — it’s where so many memories were made. Coming back a decade later, with all this new music, feels incredibly special. London is and always will be the band’s home. We can’t wait. – Mumford & Sons
Their 2026 headline set is going to celebrate their entire catalogue, and we do expect one of the summer’s biggest communal sing-alongs.
Their last Hyde Park show was a milestone for BST. Having them return at this moment in their career is something we’re incredibly proud of. – AEG Presents CEO Jim King
Supporting act The War on Drugs have steadily risen as one of the most influential American rock bands of the century, combining underground textures with widescreen anthemics. Led by Adam Granduciel, they earned a 2018 Grammy for A Deeper Understanding, which The New Yorker dubbed them “the best American rock band of this decade.” Their acclaimed catalogue includes LIVE DRUGS (2020), LIVE DRUGS AGAIN (2024), and the Grammy-nominated I Don’t Live Here Anymore, a record praised by Pitchfork for sharpening their melodic focus while preserving the band’s emotional depth. They most recently headlined Madison Square Garden in support of the album.
Previously confirmed BST Hyde Park 2026 headliners include Garth Brooks (Saturday 27 June), Pitbull (Friday 10 July), and Lewis Capaldi (Saturday 11 July and Sunday 12 July), with many more artists still to be announced. Further information is available at the BST Hyde Park website.
