P1Harmony’s Troxy performance in London wasn’t your run-of-the-mill musical soirée; it was an intense night filled with energy and the radiant personalities of Keeho, Theo, Jiung, Intak, Soul, and Jongseob. The group’s P1ustage H: P1oneer tour kicked off in January 2023 in Seoul and later moved to the US, where they performed in twelve cities. And in January 2024, the group visited three European countries: Spain, the UK, and Germany.

The first time I saw P1Harmony was at the HallyuPop Fest two years ago, and although their performance was very short, I already sensed that this group had immense talent. Seeing them at Troxy was definitely a different experience. When 7:30 PM struck the clock, P1Harmony, exuding a relaxed confidence, appeared on stage, starting the show with Look at Me Now from their 2022 HARMONY: SET IN mini-album. The song, with its rock-filled twist, presented not just their groovy moves but also their ability to easily hit every note while singing live. This was followed by Back Down, from the same release as the opening track of the show, and also maintained the high energy. The rap section really highlighted the entire song and cleverly blended it with the choreography. Their performance of Scared, taken from their Disharmony: Break Out mini-album, impressed me with its live singing and rap again. The stage seriously came alive with P1Harmony’s dynamic performance.
The banter during the Ment expressed the group’s genuine excitement about being in London, with Intak saying, “I really missed you guys. Did you guys miss me? Did you miss P1Harmony?”.

Slowing down the tempo with Me Too, P1Harmony showed their versatility, exploring the complexities of emotional expression. The Hip-hop vibes returned with That’s It, featuring a great rap section and synchronised dancing that underlined the group’s professionalism in live performances. And with pyrotechnics taking place just by the stage, the show was taken to a new level. The outfit change added a visual feast as well. Theo’s cover of DEAN’s 21 presented not only his beautiful vocals but also his skills to hit high notes. The covers continued with a soulful performance of Hug Me by Soul, providing a fresh twist to the 2011 original by Jung Joon Il.
Keeho’s breathtaking cover of Beyoncé’s Deja Vu left me speechless; his vocal control was truly admirable. Meanwhile, the Michael Jackson tribute, featuring a cover of Love Never Felt So Good, completed with iconic dance moves and costumes that brought to mind the King of Pop, was brilliant. The unit performance of Bow Wow by Intak and Jongseob delivered a fresh dynamic to the concert as well.

The recent single, Fall in Love Again, which combines K-pop with R&B, made me realise that P1Harmony is a special group. As a non-K-pop fan, they really managed to make me dance and enjoy the show to the fullest. The EDM-filled songs such as Doom Du Doom and Follow Me brought a huge amount of energy, turning the venue into a massive celebration with confetti floating around, reminiscent of a New Year’s party.
The show reached its peak when P1Harmony performed Jump and Do It Like This, transforming the Troxy into a sea of craziness. A cover of Olivia Rodrigo’s Good for You and the upbeat Ayaya ended the night on a high note. P1Harmony’s live show was a great experience, not only for the fans but also for me as a person who is not very familiar with the group’s music. But one thing is for sure: P1Harmony are amazing singers and exceptional entertainers.
