Debuted in 2021, TRI.BE burst onto the K-pop market like a comet. This South Korean girl group, formed by the powerhouse collaboration of TR Entertainment and Universal Music Group, comprises six members: Songsun, Kelly, Hyunbin, Jia, Soeun, and Mire. The name itself represents the triangle, a symbol of perfection, and “Be,” signifies existence.
TRI.BE’s rise to fame began in late 2020 when the renowned producer Shinsadong Tiger and Universal Music Group brought plans for a new girl group forward. The following year, the group released their debut single TRI.BE Da Loca, featuring the lead single Doom Doom Ta. Produced by Shinsadong Tiger and EXID’s Elly, this debut release opened the door to more opportunities. And while promoting TRI.BE Da Loca, the group signed a deal with Republic Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music.
TRI.BE unveiled their second single, Conmigo, in May 2021, and in October they released their debut EP, Veni Vidi Vici. However, their journey hasn’t been without its challenges. In July 2023, the group bid farewell to member Jinha, who departed due to health reasons, a brutal reminder of the sacrifices often made in pursuit of artistic dreams.
In February 2024, TRI.BE returned with their fourth single album, Diamond. As they continue to write their story, these young women have proved that hard work always pays off. They now shine brighter than ever and are ready to take over Europe with their TRUE DIAMOND tour, commencing in Vienna on May 30 and concluding in London on June 11. The group will also visit six more cities, including Milan and Paris.
