SF9 (Sensational Feeling 9) is a South Korean boy group formed by FNC Entertainment in 2016 as the company’s first dance-focused act. The group currently includes Inseong, Youngbin, Jaeyoon, Dawon, Zuho, Yoo Taeyang, Hwiyoung, and Chani. Originally nine members, they debuted with the single album Feeling Sensation and quickly gained attention with the energetic track Fanfare.
The members first appeared in 2016 on the survival program d.o.b., where their dance unit beat FNC’s band trainees for a chance to debut. Early releases such as Burning Sensation and Breaking Sensation helped them break into Billboard’s World Albums chart and led to successful showcases and tours in Japan, the U.S., Europe, and South America. By 2020, they had entered the Korean mainstream with their first studio album, First Collection, and the hit single Good Guy, which earned their first music-show wins and sold over 100,000 copies.
While military service and acting careers have reshaped the lineup – most notably Rowoon’s departure in 2023 to focus on acting – SF9 continues to thrive. Recent EPs like Fantasy (2024) and Love Race (2025) presented a more mature sound, and the group remains active on the road, highlighted by their sold-out 2025 Seoul concert. Nearly a decade after their debut, SF9’s mix of sleek choreography, strong vocals, and international reach keeps them a dynamic force in K-pop.
