The European Film Academy has unveiled the nominees for the 2026 European Film Awards in eight Arts & Crafts categories, celebrating the extraordinary creative talent that shapes the sound and emotional power of European cinema. This year, it’s the first full implementation of the Academy’s new member chapter system, with professionals from each craft selecting three finalists per category. Academy-wide voting now begins, with the winners set to be revealed at the European Film Awards ceremony on 17 January 2026, taking place at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, Germany.
From casting to cinematography, production design to sound, these nominations show the craftsmanship behind some of the year’s most acclaimed films.
