Korean duo Gabby Onme, made up of Adrian and KINDA, return with new music. Their newest EP, Gabby Onme 3.0, just hit the market, and without a doubt, it is compact and emotionally dense. 

Described by Gabby Onme as “a new chapter”, Gabby Onme 3.0 reflects on the past to sketch the emotional outlines of what lies ahead. The EP centers on relationships defined by distance, faith, honesty, and closure, taking shape like a carefully prepared first course. As the duo themselves put it: “The full-course meal has just started, and we hope you enjoy this appetizer.” 

The EP contains three wonderfully composed songs: CRYSTAL, WHEN YOU LIE, and BEST WITHOUT ME. 

CRYSTAL sees Gabby Onme focus on showing up – day by day, season by season – letting consistency speak louder than promises. Musically, it’s clean and beautifully reflects the emotional transparency the song advocates. Then comes WHEN YOU LIE. Without theatrics, the song explores betrayal; not as a singular moment, but as the ongoing harm of repeated dishonesty. The lyrics feel intimate, portraying lies as wounds that reopen with each careless apology.

BEST WITHOUT ME closes the EP on a bittersweet note. Written from a place of accountability, it’s a gentle farewell that puts the other person’s happiness before reunion. Rather than self-pity, the voice of the song acknowledges its fault, accepts loss, and steps away as an act of love.

Across all three tracks, Adrian and KINDA are involved at every level, from lyrics and composition to arrangement and performance. Instrumentally driven largely by KINDA, the EP maintains a cohesive sound while allowing each song its own space. Mixing is handled by KINDA STUDIO, with mastering by Hyo Young Choi (최효영) at Suono Mastering, giving the release a polished finish. 

Gabby Onme’s latest EP is a strong statement from the duo, showing their fearless approach to vulnerability. Confident and emotionally relatable, the release earns a solid four stars.
