BLITZERS have always been one of K-pop’s more adventurous young groups. Since their debut, the group has struck a balance between energetic releases, allowing each member’s individuality to shine alongside the collective. That creative openness now takes a significant step forward as SYA prepares to release her first full-length solo album, 23:24, a major step in his career.
Set for release on February 3 at 6 p.m. KST, 23:24 arrives roughly seven months after SYA’s first digital solo single, Bloom. The album’s title references two significant ages – 23 and 24 – and explores a transitional space just before midnight. Much like that in-between moment, the album traces SYA’s journey through darker periods, moments of emotional collapse, and the gradual process of recovery that follows.
Comprised of eight tracks, 23:24 will reveal itself like a personal diary. The tracklist includes the title song STAY, alongside Skit, LANDFILL, DONE, BURN, 235803, Right Back, and Actually. SYA took part in writing and composing every song, emphasising the album’s confessional tone.
One of the album’s most exciting moments comes with the sixth track, 235803, which features and is co-written by fellow BLITZERS member WOOJU. With 23:24, SYA steps forward not just as a member branching out, but as an artist confidently articulating his own emotional timeline. The album presents a coming-of-age reflected by honesty and creative independence.
SYA’s first full-length album, 23:24, will be available on all major streaming platforms on February 3 at 6 p.m. KST.
