There’s a particular kind of magic that happens when someone who has spent years building worlds for others decides to step into one of their own.
For most listeners, EL CAPITXN has long been a name tucked into album credits, a producer’s signature, a songwriter’s imprint, the invisible hand behind some of K-pop’s most emotionally textured records. But within the industry, he has always been more like a secret weapon.
Now, under the stage lights rather than behind the mixing desk, EL CAPITXN is finally telling his own story. And on tour, that story sounds louder and far more personal than anyone expected. However, before the stages and the crowds, there was the studio; endless nights of layering synths, reshaping melodies, chasing the exact shade of feeling a track required.

EL CAPITXN built his reputation through his musical genius and sensitivity. Artists sought him out because he knew when to hold back just as much as when to hit hard. It’s the kind of craftsmanship you don’t always notice at first, but once you do, you start hearing it everywhere. And all of this, he carries into his own music, too.
As a solo artist, EL CAPITXN doesn’t abandon his producer’s instincts; if anything, he uses them to enhance another strength: his singing. His voice is warm and easy on the ears, with a soft vibrato that feels as delicate as birdsong. Now, with his own material, he’s bringing that sound to Europe.

The WHO KILLED EL? tour – described as a story of loss and return – goes beyond a standard DJ set. Instead, it adopts a hybrid format that combines live instrumentation with performance. As he explains, “it isn’t about perfection, but honesty: a portrait of someone who has fallen, yet keeps moving forward”.
The journey begins in North America on March 3 in Los Angeles, followed by Mexico City (March 5), Vancouver (March 8), Calgary (March 13), and New York (March 14). The tour then heads to Europe thanks to Studio PAV, stopping in Amsterdam (March 20), London (March 25), Munich (March 27), Prague (March 29), Paris (April 1), and Warsaw (April 3), a sweeping run that shows one of the most ambitious chapters of his career to date.
