Lee Minhyuk, a.k.a Huta, is at a new chapter in his career, standing on the edge of the stage, ready to step forward with a clearer sense of who he is and the kind of artist he wants to be. For years, most people knew him as Huta of BtoB: the rapper, the athlete who dominated Idol Star Athletics, the variety show regular with charm. I call him: the dependable all-rounder. The one who could do everything.
But lately, Minhyuk hasn’t been standing beside anyone; he’s been stepping forward alone. And that difference changes everything. Long before BtoB debuted in 2012, the artist was already making music underground under the name Huta, writing and producing. Even now, that producer’s brain never leaves him.

Over the years, he’s built a solo catalogue that is simply brilliant. From the self-produced Purple Rain and Childlike, to his Japanese EP Summer Diary, and then the fully self-composed Korean debut album Hutazone, Min-hyuk established himself as a songwriter with something to say.
Later releases like Good Night and his second full album, Boom, only made his storytelling stronger.
This year, Huta is taking that sound beyond Korea and onto European stages for the first time with a solo tour, HOOK – WHO: KING, organised by ROOT Company, moving through Paris, Berlin, Warsaw, Madrid, and closing in London.
After more than a decade in the industry – acting in dramas like A New Leaf and Sweet, Savage Family, hosting shows, releasing albums, winning awards, juggling group and solo work – he is someone who’s already found his voice.
