South Korean singer-producer Dept is ready to rock the UK. Known for his beautiful production style, articulate songwriting, and cross-border collaborations, the artist born Lee Hojeong is expanding his reach across Asia and Europe with an intimate London concert, showing just how far his music now travels.
According to updated platform data as of March 2025, Dept continues to build a strong worldwide streaming presence on Spotify and YouTube, with listeners drawn to a catalogue spanning vibrant pop, soulful R&B, and tender acoustic ballads. Tracks like “Summertime,” “Truth,” and “Moonlight” showcase his energetic pop instincts, while “Van Gogh” and “Winter Blossom” give that wonderful R&B vibe. Acoustic tracts, including “Love Song,” “500 Days,” and “Like a Dream”, shower the listeners with his gentle and expressive vocals.
Since debuting in 2016 with the digital single “Easily,” Dept has proven himself equally compelling behind the microphone and behind the boards. The past two years have been a period of rapid expansion. After establishing Unikorn Union in 2023, Dept launched a solo global tour covering seven Asian territories – Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Singapore – while collaborating with leading regional acts. His cross-cultural partnerships include Thailand’s Violette Wautier, Vietnam’s Hoang Dung, Indonesia’s PAPION, and Taiwan’s HUR.

Festival invitations have followed, with appearances at MU:CON, Beautiful Mint Life Festival, Monday Project showcases, and major overseas events in Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Bali. Industry observers note that his mix of production and lyricism has helped him cultivate a truly pan-Asian fanbase.
Musically, Dept shows no signs of slowing down. The first half of 2025 brought new albums Love is Green and No Longer Human, plus collaboration releases including Tell Me, Thought of You, and Tide of You. The second half saw the release of his full-length album Dream Age, along with projects titled Hangang and Deep Green, as well as expanded touring in major Asian cities.
His growing European footprint will culminate in a London stop on the Dream Age Tour at The Grace on April 27, 2026.
