Olympia Vitalis is making a name for herself as one of the UK’s most exciting soul singers. Raised in West London and having spent years singing in gospel choirs, she draws on a rich range of influences, from Aretha Franklin and Amy Winehouse to Nas and Kendrick Lamar. Since the release of her debut EP People Watching in 2025, Olympia has built a reputation for thoughtful songwriting and rich vocals. With over two million streams, support from BBC Radio 1, a performance on A COLORS SHOW, and recognition from publications including CLASH, she has established herself as an artist to watch.

Now, Olympia is preparing to release her new EP, Lady Luck, on 10 July. The project was created in collaboration with producer Charlie Perry. Ahead of its release, she has shared Baby Blues, the third single from the EP and arguably its most intimate moment. Written after witnessing someone close to her experience postnatal depression, the track approaches its subject with sensitivity.

Across Lady Luck, Olympia explores themes of timing and self-belief through some of her most personal songwriting to date. Following the success of Daze and a sold-out headline show at St Pancras Old Church earlier this year, the EP is another major step in her artistic journey.

With a busy summer of festival appearances ahead, including Love Supreme, Mostly Jazz, Funk & Soul Festival, Gent Jazz Festival, and Good Vibrations Festival, Olympia Vitalis continues to show that Britain is filled with stunning soul music.
