Catch The Young have started the year with a bang, releasing their cover of the 90s hit You, Always by Mono. With their youthful energy and sound, the band breathes new life into the classic, blending past and present in a way that appeals to music fans of all generations. First performed at their solo concert Loud And Proud in Seoul, the single captures the band’s knack for mixing sentimentality with a contemporary edge.
“You, Always” is a hit track by Mono, released in 1993. We thought this song would be perfect for Catch The Young as we have the goal to play music that can resonate with all generations. In addition, we wanted to work on a song that all listeners, ranging from K-pop fans of the 21st century to people who love the nostalgic music of the 90s, can enjoy together – Sani, Bassist, and Leader of Catch The Young
When we met Catch The Young last year, they were newcomers with big dreams. Fast forward to now, and the band has already created a good space in the K-rock scene, drawing inspiration from the golden eras of music while adding their signature “Youth Pop-Rock” twist. From their debut mini-album Fragments of Youth to their EP Dream It, they’ve proven that whatever they make is always a good piece of music.
The members, led by bassist and leader Sani, glow with passion for music and their fans. Whether performing at festivals like Pentaport Rock or experimenting with creative concepts in their music videos, Catch The Young delivers excitement on and off stage. Their individuality shines in their music and personalities. And with You, Always (2025), they’ve not only honoured Mono’s classic but also proven they’re here to make their own mark on the industry.
I was excited and happy throughout the whole process of working on “You, Always (2025)” because the original version was very widely loved. I hope you’ll find more charms of Catch The Young through this single, and we look forward to showing great live performances of this song.” – Namhyun, Main Vocalist of Catch The Young
Keep an eye on Catch The Young as they prepare for even bigger performances and releases this year – you won’t want to miss a beat.
