Buckle up, 82MAJOR fans – your favourite stage dominators (NAM SEONG MO, PARK SEOK JOON, YOON YE CHAN, CHO SEONG IL, HWANG SEONG BIN, KIM DO GYUN) are making a grand return! The group has officially announced their comeback with their third mini album, SILENCE SYNDROME, dropping on April 14th at 6 PM KST. And if their track record is anything to go by, silence is the last thing we can expect from this comeback.

Coming just six months after X-82, their last mini album, SILENCE SYNDROME will be an even sharper sound and performance. On March 24th, the group released the tracklist, featuring four songs: the title track TAKEOVER, along with 영웅호걸 (Champions or Heroes), Passport, and Promise You. Fans at their recent 82MAJOR BOOM concert got a sneak peek at all but the title track, building even more excitement for the release. Plus, the members took creative control, contributing to the lyrics and composition – a true group effort.

Speaking of Promise You, this track is extra special – it was written with fans in mind and even got its name through a fan vote – See? Democracy in action, K-pop style.

Since their debut in 2023, 82MAJOR has been making waves worldwide. Their second mini album, X-82, stormed the Billboard charts, earning spots in multiple categories, including World Albums (#15) and Emerging Artists (#24). Meanwhile, the title track Stuck landed at #6 on the U.S. DRT Global Top 150 Independent Airplay Chart. Not too shabby for a group that’s barely a year into the game!

But it’s not just the music industry that’s paying attention – 82MAJOR has also been turning heads in the fashion world, with features in WWD, DAZED, Marie Claire, and Allure Korea, plus recognition from Rolling Stone. And if that wasn’t enough, they also took home two awards at the first-ever D AWARDS in February 2025.
