The JIB DREAM FANMEET 7 is set to return to Rome on 29-30 August 2026, bringing together some of the most popular names in Thai Boys’ Love (BL) television. Hosted at the Hilton Rome Airport Hotel in Fiumicino, the event continues what has become one of Europe’s most recognisable fanmeet series dedicated to Thai entertainment culture.

August’s line-up includes three major pairings: PondPhuwin, SkyNani and JoongDunk, all of whom have built strong international fanbases through their work with GMMTV. The event follows the continued expansion of Thai BL dramas globally, a genre that has grown rapidly over the past decade and now regularly sells out international fan events across Europe and Asia.

Thai BL, short for Boys’ Love, refers to television dramas that focus on romantic relationships between male characters. While the genre originated in East Asia, it has become a global cultural phenomenon, particularly through Thai productions. Series such as Star In My Mind, Hidden Agenda, and The Heart Killers have helped actors like Joong Archen, Dunk Natachai, Pond Naravit, Phuwin Tangsakyuen, Sky Wongravee, and Nani Hirunkit gain international recognition.

Joong & Dunk, one of the confirmed pairs for JIB DREAM FANMEET 7, are best known for Hidden Agenda (2023) and The Heart Killers (2024). Pond & Phuwin, another major attraction of the event, are widely recognised for their long-standing collaboration in GMMTV productions including Me and Thee and Never Let Me Go. Their pairing has become one of the most established within the Thai BL landscape.

Sky & Nani, meanwhile, gained popularity through series such as WU, High School Frenemy and MuTeLuv, part of GMMTV’s interconnected storytelling universe.

The JIB DREAM FANMEET series itself has developed into a major European destination for Thai entertainment fans. Previous editions have featured multiple GMMTV pairings and have been praised for offering a close-up, interactive experience between actors and audiences. According to organisers Jus In Bello, the event format typically includes Q&A sessions, live performances, games, and photo opportunities, making it more personal than a standard concert experience.
